The browser interprets everything that look like a tag!

How do you keep Netscape from interpreting
tags so the line won't break?

The above sentence had a <BR> after the word "interpreting" which cause the line to break.

Question: Why didn't the above line break after "... sentence had a <BR> ..." ?
