Purpose: To provide teaching and/or research assistant experiences to graduate students.
Criteria: Cumulative GPA, GRE scores.
Enrollment: Must be enrolled for six or more semester hours of graduate credit for each term of the award.
Benefits: Graduate Assistants usually work 10 hours a week, receive hourly wages, and a matriculation waiver.

• Ethnicity and crime
• Global positioning satellites and offender monitoring
• Perceptions and attitudes of jail correctional officers
• Privatization and the myth of inherent efficiency
• Restorative Justice
• Sentencing guidelines on judicial discretion
• Serial murder
• Sexual behavior in prisons
• Technology and alternative modes of instructional delivery
• Victimology
