• Brazilian Portuguese – a good site with practical information on grammar and every day
  Expressions such as how to ask things, greeting, expressing time, etc.  It contains sound clips.
  It also gives links to Brazil’s major newspapers: O Globo, Jornal do Brasil, Estado de Sao Paulo, etc.
• Talk Portuguese – A useful site although it teaches Portuguese from Portugal.
• Short Portuguese Lessons – Lessons are on greeting, verbs, simple sentences, prepositions, etc.  (Portugal Portuguese)

Cultural Information about Brazil

• Consulate General of Brazil in Miami – Click on English Version at the top right-hand side. Click on Cultural Affairs – You will find lots of information about Brazil. Click on Brazil in Brief (Embassy of Brazil in London).  It has different sections such as history, people, arts, economy, etc.  You should read all different sections.  There is also a link to Web sites with information about Brazil.  You will also find under Consulate and VISAS the application to apply for the student visa to enter Brazil.

• Brazil Tourism – The Brazilian Tourism Office – You will find information about literature, music, cinema, fine arts, folk arts, destination, etc.
