We believe that you will always cherish your experience studying abroad, meeting new people and learning in a different culture. Studying abroad is a way for students to get the most out of their education and prepare for life. When students study abroad they enrich their course of study and improve their knowledge of how things are done in other parts of the world.
Students planning to study abroad should consult with the Associate Vice President of the Office of Diversity and International Education and Programs and the Director of the International Student Office. Students should also review the links to information resources on International Center web site. We ask that all undergraduate, graduate, and professional students taking part in University-sponsored international travel to register on-line with our International Travel Registry. Faculty and staff who sponsor and/or lead students on trips abroad or who are engaged in research or other work connected with University business are strongly encouraged to register.
The International Center in collaboration with other units,
• Administers over 20 study abroad programs primarily for undergraduate students.
• Offers a general list of scholarship opportunities designed to support participation in study abroad programs.
• Serves as an information resource for work, study, and travel abroad options for undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students.
