Course Description
"Google Me This" will use the open-source (free) tools available through Google's cloud networking. Learn how to use Google Apps to benefit your educational and social world! Once you learn how to navigate and utilize Google Apps, communicating and collaborating with your peers will become easy! This course will incorporate the use of wikis as well as a variety of Google Apps.
What is "Cloud Computing"? Cloud computing allows use of a 3rd party service to perform computing needs publicly.
What is "Cloud Networking"? Cloud networking allows users to work together on a common project through a vast network of computers. (i.e. if a team of people were required to work on one research paper, this could be done through "cloud networking")
Why is "Cloud Networking" beneficial to me? Cloud networking will enhance your school work, time managment, travel, and social networking.
What will I learn through these 4-weeks? By the end of the 4-weeks, you will learn how to "Cloud Network" with your friends. For example, if you wanted to plan an end-of-the-year party, this could be done through cloud networking.
