The Honors Mentor Program consists of a group of students willing to lead and advise incoming Freshmen and Transfer students in the University Honors Program. A mentor is assigned a group of about eight students, matched based on similar areas of study. Throughout the year the mentor meets with his or her mentees to make sure they aren't having trouble acclimating to UWF, and to help them in various aspects of their academic life. Mentors are required to attend or organize a total of four events with their mentees each semester.
