Admission to the University Honors Program is a separate application process from admission to the university. Applications to be admitted to the Honors Program will be accepted until August 1st.

Students with less than 60 hours of credit, seeking admission to the program must submit an Honors Program application and a letter of recommendation. In addition, the applicant must have:

1. A cumulative, weighted GPA of 3.5 or higher OR rank in the top 10% of their graduating high school class;
2. And must have an ACT composite score of 26 or higher OR a combined 1770 or higher on the SAT.

Transfer students (with 60 hours or more of credit) seeking admission to the program must submit an Honors Program application, must have an overall transfer GPA of 3.5, and must submit a letter of recommendation from their previous institution.
