Admission to the University Honors Program is granted on a rolling basis to incoming Freshmen and Transfer students, as well as students currently enrolled at UWF, and is a separate process from admission to the university.
Entering high school graduates seeking admission to the program must submit an Honors Program application and a letter of recommendation. In addition, the applicant must have:
Transfer students seeking admission to the program must submit an Honors Program application, must have an overall transfer GPA of 3.25, and must submit a letter of recommendation from the Honors Director of their previous institution.
UWF students seeking admission to the program who were not admitted as freshman must submit an Honors Program application, must have an overall UWF GPA of 3.25, and must submit a letter of recommendation from a UWF faculty member.
