Do you have what it takes to be a member of the best Honors Program in the state of Florida?

For admission to the University Honors Program, incoming high school graduates should meet the following requirements:

• a cumulative, weighted GPA of 3.5 or higher OR
• ranking in the top 10% of your class
• ACT composite score of 26 or higher OR
• SAT composite score of 1770 or higher
• Letter of Recommendation

For admission to the University Honors Program, incoming transfer students should meet the following requirements:

• A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at current College/ University
• ACT composite of 26 or higher OR 1770 SAT composite score of 1770
• Letter of Recommendation

Students entering the program with less than 60 semester hours completed must satisfy the following requirements:

• LIT 1122 Great Books I - must be taken during the first Fall semester as an Honors student.
• 5 Honors Electives
• 2 IDH 403x Honors Seminars
• IDH 4970 Honors Thesis
• Complete 100 hours of volunteer credit certified through Volunteer UWF!

Students entering the program with 60 semester hours or more completed must satisfy the following requirements:

• LIT 1122 Great Books I - must be taken during the first Fall semester as an Honors student.
• 3 Honors Electives
• 2 IDH 403x Honors Seminars
• IDH 4970 Honors Thesis
• Complete 50 hours of volunteer credit certified through the Volunteer UWF!
