ATHLETIC TRAINING

Financial Assistance

Due to the unique nature of this academic program, students are required to participate in a minimum of 225 clinical clock hours each semester (approximately 15 hours/week).  It is highly recommended that all prospective athletic training students apply for financial assistance.  Students may be eligible for state/federal funds in the form of academic scholarships, work-study, Pell Grants, subsidized/un-subsidized student loans, and other forms of financial assistance.  There is no fee for applying for financial aid.  Contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance (http://uwf.edu/finaid/) for additional information on financial assistance at The University of West Florida.
