Certificate in Historic Preservation

An 18 credit hour certificate program in historic preservation is also available.  Providing both breadth and quality of study, including the opportunity to work on faculty grant projects, the certificate program is comprised of the six core courses in archaeology and histor required in the full Master of Arts degree program.

The certificate program is geared towards individuals interested in studying historic preservation but who are not ready to commit to the full master’s degree program, and to current practitioners in the field who wish to add a historic preservation certification to their academic or professional credentials.
