In order to better serve our students, the Student Health Center will now be scheduling appointments effective immediately.  Same day appointments will be available on a limited basis. Walk-ins will either be given an appointment time or may wait to be worked in, depending on the urgency of the medical problem. Emergency situations will obviously receive top priority. Our hope is that this change will alleviate some of the long wait times we are experiencing due to the increase in the number of students needing medical care.

 You need to arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive 10 minutes after the scheduled time of your appointment, it will be necessary for you to reschedule. If you find that you are unable to keep the appointment or no longer need to be seen, please call and cancel your appointment so that we may offer this time to another student. Please understand that we will do our best to see you at your appointment time, but you may still experience a wait even with an appointment due to the unexpected situations that may occur.

Appointments can be made by calling the Student Health Center at (850) 474-2172. It is recommended that you call as early in the day as possible. You may also make appointments in person at the Student Health Center (Building 63).  Our staff will assist you with this Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM and Thursday from 9:30 AM - 5 PM.  If you are in need of medical care when the Student Health Center is closed, please see the list below of some Urgent Care Centers and Emergency Rooms available in our area. In the event of a life-threatening emergency at any time, call 911.
