Analyzing commerce and business through the lens of economics gives great perspective into how local and national economies are fueled and how they effect you and me."

“My experience at the Haas Center involved working with people from a wide range of career paths with each person bringing a skill to the team that helped push the Center to success with its research and findings. I learned to assemble reports from start to finish - from locating the raw data, mapping them into a form that could be interpreted or expressed and reporting the findings in a manner that interested individuals can understand. The Center effectively combined individuals from different backgrounds into teams to ensure that projects were completed successfully. The stress-ball basketball, the occasional rubber band war and convincing the director to buy us lunch now and then kept the environment light. I enjoyed the experience and I learned a lot!”
