Welcome to another semester GSA members, this year looks to be promising and exciting! In recent news I, Travis Braidwood, have decided to step down as GSA President in order to focus on graduate school and my final semester as a senior here at UWF; but not to worry, I will still be around as an active member of GSA. Additionally, Adriana, our current Treasurer, will be unable to retain her position due to class conflicts.
In keeping with our constitution Keith, the current Vice President, will assume the office of the president until elections are held.
In order to be a voting member you must attend two GSA meetings consecutively (i.e if you attend the a meeting in week A you would be able to vote for candidates the following week B).
Once we get things under way we will begin to take nominations for the open positions—anyone may be nominated.
Our first meeting will be next Tuesday January 16th.
The Room details are still being worked out but it will still be at 7:00pm (just look for the sheet of paper at the top of the stairs on the 2nd floor of the commons, it lists all of the rooms and which organizations are using any room during each day).
