UWF ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR IT ACADEMY STUDENTS SEEKING A MICROSOFT CERTIFICATION IN FORT WALTON BEACH
FORT WALTON BEACH -- In an effort to meet the growing demand for quality professionals in the information technology (IT) industry, the University of West Florida IT Academy has recently announced scholarship opportunities for individuals enrolled in fall 2007 instructor-led Microsoft certification courses.
Scholarships will cover $1,500 per semester in tuition expenses for qualified individuals in the Fort Walton Beach area. Limited funds are available. Interested individuals must complete a registration form by Sept. 1, 2007 to qualify.
The UWF IT Academy semester begins in Fort Walton Beach Sept. 11, 2007. Certification courses last for one semester and provide academic credit towards the Information Engineering Technology degree.
