UWF RECEIVES $20,000 ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP COMMITMENT FROM ALLSTAFF
PENSACOLA - The University of West Florida Division of Development has announced that Allstaff Payroll Service will establish a $20,000 endowed scholarship at UWF. Allstaff gave the university $10,000 towards the scholarship during the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours. The first scholarship will be awarded to an Allstaff employee majoring in either accounting or business administration. If there is not an Allstaff employee who qualifies for the scholarship, a recipient will be selected by the UWF College of Business.
"As Allstaff Payroll Service expands its services, we decided to create this endowment to help attract and retain talent, not only to better serve our clients, but to promote education and enhance job opportunities in the Pensacola community," said Bill Agall, Certified Public Accountant and owner of Allstaff.
Allstaff is a full-service professional organization providing comprehensive payroll services in the Pensacola business community since 1983.
For a minimum contribution of $20,000, a named endowed scholarship may be established at UWF by an individual, family or company. This may be given as a one-time gift or over a five-year period. A portion of the interest or income earned from the investment of the endowment's principal is used to fund student scholarships.
