Our vision is clear: to become the best regional comprehensive university in America. This will require no less than an uncommon commitment by those who deeply believe in the university and its success and understand that investments today will create great futures for our students, university and region. The Creating Great Futures Campaign challenges UWF’s alumni and friends to turn this belief into action.

As the university’s first comprehensive fundraising campaign since the mid-1990s, the Creating Great Futures Campaign will secure resources to strengthen and build key partnerships and lead UWF to greatness. This campaign is critical because we can no longer look to the State of Florida for resources to provide the margin of excellence that, combined with our vision, will lead UWF to greatness.

Under the leadership of UWF’s fourth president, John C. Cavanaugh, it is time for UWF to take the next step to transform a very good university into a truly great one. It is time for Northwest Florida to have its university recognized nationally for quality, innovation and its connection with the region.
