Since 1967, UWF has become Northwest Florida’s university, meeting the educational needs of the communities it serves. It is now time for UWF to take the next step to transform a very good university into a truly great one. It is time for Northwest Florida to have its university recognized nationally for quality, innovation and its connection with the region.

The Creating Great Futures Campaign is the university’s largest ever comprehensive fund-raising campaign and will be the most ambitious in its forty-year history. The campaign will secure resources to strengthen and build key partnerships that will provide outstanding opportunities for students and help meet the needs of our region.

As UWF strives to become the best regional comprehensive university in our nation, private giving will play an increasingly important role. Philanthropy affords UWF the freedom and the resources to shape its own destiny and fulfill its public mission.

It’s all about the students—they are the heart of UWF. Collectively, we have the ability to transform lives and create great futures for our students. Let’s harness the power that each and every one of us possesses to build a better life for someone else. Our lives will certainly be enriched by engaging in this transformational effort.
