University of West Florida, Online GIS offers courses for college credit and for continuing education units.

College Credit: Our Online GIS Certificate Program offers courses at the Undergraduate and Graduate level. Students who successfully complete the 24 credit program with an overall 3.0 GPA will be awarded a certificate in Geographic Information Science. This program is designed both for novice students looking to begin a career in GIS and for professionals looking to increase knowledge and marketability in a growing field. Courses are transferable among accredited institutions.

Continuing Education Units: GIS Training Academy offers both online and face-to-face course options to increase your ArcGIS software skills in a short period of time. Introductory courses are intended for those new to GIS and to the latest version of ArcGIS software. Advanced and specialized GIS courses are available at request. Upon successful completion, students earn continuing education units.
