Your Choice of Fancy Footwear
The choice of shoes for fencing is very important. While the original
Musketeers fenced in soft boots, they surely would have prefered tennis
shoes. Any low top court shoe, cross trainer, or any shoe that provides
good ankle support will do well. Many members of the UWF Fencing
Club wear wrestling shoes, and they come highly recommended, if you have
access to them. You can also purchase fencing shoes at a price only slightly higher
that what you would pay for wrestling shoes.
RUNNING SHOES ARE RECOMMENDED.
