Teaching Opportunity in China
Teaching opportunity at university level is available at Wuhan University, Nankai and Shanghai International Studies University.
There are also visiting teacher programs in Shanghai and Beijing, the People’s Republic of China. This program is a perfect opportunity for American Teachers/Students who are interested in Chinese culture to go to China to teach in China’s elementary school system. The program will provide the candidates the necessary services (Chinese visa), insurance, travel expenses, and moderate salaries. The program is for one semester and can be renewed for two or more semesters.

Study Abroad Program: Shanghai,China

The opportunity to learn Chinese language, culture, social, economic and business environment; to tour the famous Chinese historical landmarks; and to earn college credit.
The University of West Florida and the Florida China Linkage Institute (FCLI) proudly presents a study abroad program at Shanghai International Studies University, one of the most prestigious universities in China.
The program is for one semester or for one year. Any students who have currently enrolled in Florida university/community college with good academic standing regardless of major. Students should take at least 3 courses from a host of Language, Literature, Business, Law, International Trade, Management, Education and Journalism courses. Upon completion of course requirements, students will receive nine credit hours from Shanghai International Studies University; the credit hours may be transferred to the home university to earn credit. FCLI has a limited number of scholarships available.
Kara Stanley was the first student to in the program; she is currently attending a second semester. Scott Morris and Tony Paullin have enrolled for the spring 2004 semester. Jose Cruz has enrolled for the Fall 2004 semester.
