Summer Program: Marine Research High School Program
International Paper has partnered with UWF's Explore Summer Programs to host a Marine Research high school program. International Paper has provided boat transportation to their wetlands where the participants will collect their research. Also, Explore Summer Programs was awarded funding through IP for supplies related to this high school program. Summer 2010, this program will be offered as a residential experience. To learn more about International Paper's water quality improvement project please visit their website. IP hosted the Marine Research's presentation on Friday, July 17th, where the participants were able to present their findings to a group of University and IP employees.

Summer Program: Get into Energy! (6th-8th Graders)
Gulf Power will be sponsoring providing the materials used during this summer a portion of the field trip the students take on June 16th to the James F. Crist Plant and to the Perdido Landfill. Additional materials and supplies (i.e. science kits) have been provided through Gulf Power's support for this summer program.

Starfish, Inc. donated the funds to purchase each child their construction kits.

Summer Program: Architecture Program (7th-12th Graders)
Hernandez Calhoun Design International has donated 50 architect scales and other supplies necessary for this summer program (i.e. pencils and precut sheets with borders).

Hot Spots Bait & Tackle will be sponsoring the marine biology investigation bags produced by Breeze Promotions.
