What is "making way?"
“Making way” is a nautical expression for a ship making progress. Envision a ship cutting swiftly through the water, on course, with full sails, tuned rigging and a trusted hand at the helm.

What is “excellence?”
For us, it is creating a learning environment like no other...a place where creativity, caring in its largest sense and intellectual excellence are intrinsic to the people who work and study here...a place where nothing is more important than maintaining personal relationships that nurture the mind and spirit, to empower those we serve as well as each of us, to reach our full potential.
