Nick Schuck Emerald Coast Tours, the only Segway tour operator between New Orleans and Clearwater, FL, opened its doors on March 1st, 2012. The business originally started out offering Historic Bicycle Tours and Walking Pub Tours of Downtown Pensacola along with bicycle rentals. After three months of being open and seeing the positive response from the community, Emerald Coast Tours expanded the tour options. The owner, Jason "Nick" Schuck, decided to bring something to the Pensacola area that seemed to be doing exceptionally well in bigger cities: Segways. He moved Emerald Coast Tours into a new storefront location at 701 South Palafox Street, across from the New World Inn, and took a break from his job of ten years as a public school English teacher to make Emerald Coast Tours a full time business.
