Jonathan Fink won this year's Editors' Prize in Poetry from The Missouri Review. The Editors' Prize is a contest for a selection of ten pages of unpublished poetry and it carries a publication prize of the winning work, a prize reading at the University of Missouri and a cash prize of $3000. Regina Sakalarios-Rogers, English and Foreign Languages, had her story, "Pillaged," published by "Toasted Cheese" online, a highly ranked online literary publication. The story was also recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize, which is the most honored literary project in America. The story has now also been nominated for the 2007 storySouth Million Writers Award . It is an award for the best online fiction.
