(for spring semester classes only)
Toward the end of the spring semester, usually during the last week of classes, the Composition Program hosts the Spring Composition and Rhetoric Conference. This conference allows students in English Composition II classes to showcase the public writing skills they have been acquiring and sharpening all semester. Students present their final projects in a variety of campus venues and formats, including informative and argumentative lectures, Q & A sessions, pamphlets, websites, and others, engaging with a wide range of public issues and concerns. All students enrolled in spring ENC1102 classes will be required, as part of the final project, to contribute and respond to this conference in some way, to be determined by the instructor.
