Governor
Melissa Oakes
My name is Melissa Oakes. I am a senior at UWF pursuing a degree
in management. I joined Emerald Coast SGA so that I could be a
voice for the students and to give back to the community. Past
volunteer experiences have included Habitat for Humanity, peer
counseling, and most recently, the Beasley Park clean up. Once
I graduate, I plan to work in human resources in the field of
training and development. I am married and we are the proud parents
of a five year old little boy. I enjoy a wide range of activities
including weight training, reading (spirituality and philosophy),
listening to music, and dancing. I am excited to have the opportunity
to be a part of SGA!

Senate President
VictoriaJudkins
My name is Victoria Judkins. I am the President of the Emerald
Coast Branch of the UWF Student Government Association. Additionally,
I am a UWF Student Ambassador, and I am also actively involved
with the Extended Campus Activity Board, along with pursuing a
dual major in Exceptional Student and Elementary Education. As
a team player, I enjoy working with others to develop and implement
innovative ideas. I have numerous interests which include swimming,
bicycling, writing poetry, and traveling the world. I earned my
black belt in karate five years ago and I am passionate about
encouraging women to learn self defense techniques. I joined SGA
in order to be a voice for the UWF Student Body and to further
give back to our community.

FWB Senator
MaritaPerry
Hi, my name is Marita Perry and I am a junior at the University
of West Florida. My major is Psychology; I am hoping to graduate
in the spring of 2010. I work part time at Lowe's and my main
focus right now is to try to finish school as soon as possible.
I think being in the Student Government Association it will let
me get involved with the community, get to know some cool people,
learn how to be more responsible and a leader in life. After I'm
done with my B.A., I will try to get my Masters in Clinical Psychology
to become a Mental Health Counselor for kids.

FWB Senator
Andrea Archer
I'm Andrea Archer a senior B.S.B.A.-Management major. I'm a wife,
mother of four (ages 8, 5, 2, and 7 months), and full-time student.
I'm 28 years old and originally from Omaha, Nebraska but I lived
in Denver, Colorado for several years before enlisting into the
Air Force. I spent 4 years on active duty. In life, I believe
that some doors are opened for you, some doors are meant to be
knock down by you, and when all else fails you're supposed to
do some demolition work by creating a door for yourself and paving
the way for others.

FWB Senator
Matt Brown
Hello, my name is Matthew Brown. I am 22 years old and pursuing
a degree in computer and electrical engineering. I joined SGA
to become a part of a strong and fundamentally progressive group
of students focused on improving the educational experience and
learning environment for our fellow students. In my spare time,
I like to play guitar as well as cook Italian food. Unfortunately,
I am addicted to energy drinks as a result of school; it helps
me focus on schoolwork. So, with that in mind, I DO understand
different wants and needs of other students to help focus on school.
