Purpose The HRRM program is designed to prepare students of the rapidly growing resort, recreation, and tourism management industry. The program's proximity to the beautiful Emerald Coast tourist communities, such as Destin, South Walton County and Fort Walton Beach, provides a living laboratory where students can apply first-hand the knowledge and theories they learn in the classroom. Program Information The Hospitality, Recreation and Resort Management degree is a total of 60 hours. There are 51 hours of required courses (42 in-major and 9 from other departments), and students may select 3 courses or 9 hours of HRRM electives to complete their programs.
