Design of an Electric Vehicle Battery Management System

End-Product Description
The EV BMS is a microcontroller based product that allows for easy integration on any electric vehicle. The system will monitor each cell in the battery pack and ensure that an overcharge, undercharge, or over discharge situation does not occur. In the event that any one of the previously mentioned conditions exists, the user will be notified by a change in color of the window in which the cells voltage is displayed. The goal of a BMS is to ensure that potentially catastrophic failures can be avoided by early detection of bad or weak cells in the pack. This system will provide cost effective insurance for any EV user.
