End-Product Description
A photo-voltaic panel, wind turbine, batteries, and an inverter organized to comprise as the final project description. The final design will be able to power a 40 watt light bulb through a DC to AC inverter. The batteries function as a power source and are limited only by cost of additional batteries; by joining in parallel connections more powerful loads can be reached. The materials to be designed comprise of mainly an inverter as well as connecting the wind turbine and solar panel to a charge controller, as well as other electrical accessories. The wind turbine, solar panel, charge controller, and loads will be purchased completely built and will be designed for transportation.
