Dr. Lynn Lauderdale, Faculty Advisor
Dr. Lauderdale is the associate Professor of Piano, Organ, and Music History at UWF. She received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance from Louisiana State University, and Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance, with Organ and Musicology as related fields from the University of North Texas.


Sharon Van Hoose, Chapter Adviser
Sharon Van Hoose received the Bachelor or Music Education degree from Eastern Kentucky University where she was initiated into Alpha Eta Chapter of Delta Omicron in 1969. While at EKU, she majored in Piano with studies also in Organ performance and Voice. Sharon was awarded the Master of Music Education from Florida State University with additional studies at Shenandoah University. While at FSU, she studied piano with Professor Edward Kilenyi. Sharon is a member of the Past National Officers of Delta Omicron having been Zeta West Province President for a number of years and International First Vice President. She sings with the Choral Society of Pensacola, is organist at the First Christian Church, has a private piano studio and does accompanying.

Heather Cothran Newberry completed her bachelor's in Music Education at UWF in 2002. Since then she has worked as an Administrative Assistant at Abraham Baldwin College and the University of Georgia and is currently the secretary and treasurer of New Life Presbyterian Church. Heather sings with the Tifton Choral Society and is involved with music ministries at her church in Tifton, Georgia where she lives with her husband, Jeff, her son, Ben, and Scout, the wonder dog.

Alecia Trevino has been the band and Choral director at Holley Navarre MS since graduating from UWF 8 years ago. She has also recently adopted 5 children making her the mother of 7. She has hosted 5 foreign exchange student: 1 from Holland, 1 from S. Korea, and the rest from Germany.

Angela Fontanini recieved her Associates in Arts in Business from the University of West Florida. She then continued her education in Ohio at Franklin University where she received a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, graduating with Honors. She currently sings with her church choir, and has taken part in a number of internships and volunteer work. She is currently Volunteer Marketing Coordinator for her town's local science ceter COSI.
