Living Well Workshops
These are interactive presentations facilitated by CWS staff. Presentations are scheduled throughout the semester, but can also be requested by classes, RA’s, Greeks, Athletics teams, or anyone else who is interested. Listed below are some detailed descriptions of programs that can be requested through Wellness Services.
Alcohol Programs
- Irish Wake Your Alcohol IQ- The program equips students with the knowledge they need to make responsible decisions when dealing with alcohol. Discussion includes harm reduction strategies and an interactive standard drink pouring exercise.
- Alcohol Jeopardy- This fun, interactive seminar teaches students about safe blood alcohol levels, social norms, alcohol poisoning, harm reduction strategies and more.
- Supplemental Activity: Standard Drink Pouring Exercise- This fun, interactive activity teaches participants how to pour the standard drink amount for five different types of alcoholic beverages.
Sexual Health Programs
- Condom Bingo- This is not your mother’s bingo! This bingo-styled question and answer game involves discussion regarding various sexual health issues such as contraception, STI’s, sexual assault and the importance of healthy relationships.
- Contraception 101- Participants learn how various contraceptive methods work, the pros and cons & how one can obtain them if they need it.
- What’s Up Down There?- Participants will learn the signs, symptoms and treatment for common STI’s.
- Supplemental Activities
- Sex Jeopardy- Participants will learn facts on STI’s and contraception. It’s a blast!
- Condom Line Up- Participants learn the proper way to use a condom. This program is interactive, informative and fun. A condom demonstration is also included.
Sexual Assault Prevention Programs
- Class WATCH- Participants learn what sexual assault is, the legal definition and how to prevent it and what to do if it occurs.
- Risk Reduction for Sexual Assault- This program focuses on strategies to reduce one’s risk of sexual assault.
Awareness Days/Weeks
These include creative programming, informative booths, speakers, food giveaways, and many activities that encourage student involvement. The focus is on risk reduction strategies and healthy choice promotion.

Social Norms Campaign
This campaign aims to correct common misconceptions that students have about the drinking culture on campus. Look for signs throughout campus for more information.
Condom Crew
Our condom crew fills machines in designated campus restrooms across campus. These areas are places you can get free condoms and know that they are safe and effective.
Visit this locations for FREE condoms:
- Restrooms in Argo Galley, Bldg. 22
- Restrooms in the Library, Bldg. 32
- Restrooms in the Computer Lab (lower level), Bldg. 79
- Health Center, Bldg. 63
Rapid Response HIV Testing
This service is free and results are given within 20 minutes. Testing generally takes place monthly in an upstairs room in the Commons. Check the calendar on the home page to verify dates
