Life is full of surprises. Some are good, some are painful. It has been said that, “life is the constant creative process of holding on and letting go.” The college years are a time when the changes of life and new experiences may become overwhelming. College students have the opportunity to explore these pains and make meaning in new ways. As you move toward independence and all of life’s challenges and excitements, therapy presents a unique opportunity to make peace with old pains and to move forward with flow. I am interested in the creative and unique ways that college students come to thrive and strive.
I have professional interests in grief & loss, trauma & recovery, existentialism, psychoanalysis, humanism, multiculturalism, constructionism, social justice, spirituality, creativity, men’s roles in sexual assault prevention, trance, resilience, imagination, relationships, flow, dreams, psi, power, play, space, balance, and peace.
