Amanda Chamberland
Office Specialist
I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology here at the University of West Florida in May 2007. Because of my love of the campus and community I have been working on campus ever since graduation. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel Administration. I am happy being the Office Specialist for Counseling and Wellness Services. My job is important because I am the first point of contact for students, faculty, and staff, whether it is in person or by phone. I try to make everyone feel welcomed when they enter the front door, and I do so by keeping the front office warm and inviting. I do my best helping clients by directing them, whether they are in crisis or if they are a new client simply wanting to gain more information about the services we have to offer here at Counseling and Wellness Services. I find my job extremely rewarding, specifically because of the working environment created by the wonderful people who surround me.
