Our Mission
The Haitian Students Association (HSA) was constituted for various reasons. Our current President, Roberto Baptiste felt that there were enough Haitians attending the University of West Florida (UWF), to put together an interesting and successful association. One of the purposes of the association was to bring together the Haitian students from UWF. While it was possible for us to come together without constituting an association, putting together an official association made it possible for us to more easily share our culture with other non-Haitian UWF students, and give them an insight in our country: Haiti.
