Year 3

The third year of the program has been designed to give the students programming skills and experience with engineering instrumentation. Java programming will be taught during the first semester with a slant toward engineering and engineering problems. The second half of the year will teach the students HTML, VRML, and metrology and instrumentation to include the application and interpretation of data collected from strain gauges, thermocouples, and accelerometers. The projects required during the second half of the year will be research oriented such as testing materials to destruct.
