Writing
During the course of the program, students will write various research papers. Too often students arrive at the university level not knowing how to write to an accepted style. UWF required students to write to the APA 5th addition. This is taught in the program.

The first papers are graded less for content and more for the techincal aspects of APA. This is done through a rubric and students are given the opportunity to review their papers prior to the due date, ensuring an "A" grade.

Later in the program, content and research material used in the writing of the paper are emphasized more.
