Veterans Services Certificate Program is a program designed to help volunteers, Veteran Services Officers, or social service professionals better assess and respond to the needs of veterans and their family members who come seeking assistance in resolving problems. By more accurately assessing, identifying, and understanding the issues presented by veterans, those completing the Veterans Services Certificate program will enhance their ability to assist veterans in the Veterans Administration claims process and to provide effective and efficient services to veterans.
The program consists of four courses offered in an online format. The courses are sequential and last eight weeks each. You will be part of a cohort who enroll and begin the series of courses at the same time. Within each of the courses, your work is self-paced. The courses are:
