UWF students Sara Richardson and Michael Weech are working on behalf of the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida conducting interviews with local veterans who have served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

These interviews are part of a multi-generational oral history project related to the museum’s efforts to celebrate Eglin’s 75th anniversary and host the Vietnam Veterans Wall and Traveling Museum in 2010.

Sara, a Ft. Walton Beach student, is working toward a double major in English and Anthropology and is an Honors student. Michael is from Niceville and is a History major. The veterans have been very impressed with their professionalism and skills. The photo shows both students interviewing Pace resident and WWII veteran Larry Holmes at the museum.
