Leadership Developmental Assessment Center (LDAC)
The LDAC is a product developed by faculty and student collaboration at the University of West Florida. The LDAC provides organizations the opportunity to assess current employees across several behaviorally-based dimensions (e.g., oral communication, problem-solving) by placing participants in simulated exercises (e.g., in-basket, leaderless group discussion). Participants are given instructions, observed by trained assessors, and provided extensive feedback. Assessment centers have become increasingly popular and are considered valid.
