Cavanaugh Presents at Joint Boards Retreat

Board of Trustees Welcomes New Members

The University of West Florida Board of Trustees (BOT) welcomes two new members, Thomas Scott Marzilli and April Jardine. Marzilli replaces Jay Gould as president of the UWF Faculty Senate and representative to the BOT. Jardine replaces Christina Genualdi as president of the Student Government Association and representative to the BOT.

Marzilli is currently an associate professor in the UWF Department of Health, Leisure and Exercise Science and faculty athletic representative for UWF. He has been with UWF for eight years. Marzilli earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University and his doctorate in movement science from Florida State University.

Jardine is a senior at UWF majoring in history and pre-law. Her career objective is to work with constitutional law.
