Jan Lloyd has been involved in archaeology around Pensacola since 1981 and was one of the original members of the Pensacola Archaeology Society. After getting her Anthropology degree at UWF in 1985, she worked part time on prehistoric and historic projects in this area until she retired from teaching in 1998. Since that time she has been with the Archaeology Institute. She has worked extensively with local artifact identification and helped develop the artifact classification catalog for the Archaeology Institute. She is now a Field and Laboratory Supervisor with the Anthropology Department and Archaeology Institute. |
