Melissa
Timo received her B.S. from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania. She
has conducted field work at historic sites in Pennsylvania and Ohio, including
the Irvine Mills complex and Historic Hanna's Town. She also worked as a field
technician and lab director for a cultural resource management firm in southwestern
Pennsylvania. In 2007, Melissa was an Interpretation Intern and
Tour Supervisor at historic Great Camp Sagamore in Adirondack State Park.
Currently, she works with the Florida Public Archaeology Network as a Public
Archaeology Assistant. Her interests are post-Columbian contact and colonial
periods in eastern North America, as well as domestic site adaptations in
the English colonial borderlands. Degree and focus: Historical Archaeology,
