Wes
Perrine graduated from the University of Florida in 2008 with a B.A. in Anthropology
and a minor in Soil Science. While there, he attended field school in the
Upper Amazon of Peru where he participated in excavations of the remains of
a household occupied in 500 BC. Currently, Wes is helping excavate the Brick
Wreck in Pensacola Bay with graduate student field director Dean Nones. His
interests include ship construction, culture contact, maritime traditions
and Schooners. Degree and focus: Anthropology, Maritime.
