Bill Neal, a native of Annapolis, Maryland, received his B.A. in English from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1994. He has worked in the marine industry as a watersports rental operator, boat repair technician, and, most recently, a boat builder. His research focus is public archaeology, especially as it relates to maritime contexts. His wife Heather, step-daughter Erica, and furry friends Ripken and Isabel serve as his support group as he currently attempts to finish his Master’s Degree.
