Bill Neal, a native of Annapolis, Maryland, received his B.A. in English from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1994. He has worked in the marine industry as a watersports rental operator, boat repair technician, and, most recently, a boat builder. His research focus is public archaeology, especially as it relates to maritime contexts. His wife Heather, step-daughter Erica, and furry friends Ripken and Isabel serve as his support group as he currently attempts to finish his Master’s Degree. His philosophy in life is “Don't worry, be happy.” Degree and focus: Anthropology, Maritime.
