Article 9

Rushing

  1. Alcohol:
    1. Alcohol is not permitted in any rushing activities
    2. If found by any officials, brothers will:
      1. Be fined a maximum of $25 and/or maybe result in expulsion
    3. Alpha Mu Brothers will abide by all of the University of West Florida's Dry Rush Policies

Article 10

Community Service

  1. Committee chooses where service is to take place

  2. Acceptable reasons for not attending community service:
    1. Death in the family
    2. Emergency
    3. Work

  3. Discipline:
    1. If a brother has no good reason for not completing his hours he will be set in front of the disciplinary committee.

Article 11

Warranties

  1. Organization's purpose:
    1. Academic enrichment
    2. Community service
    3. Bring people together

  2. Activities that are unlawful:
    1. Not abiding by all university Dry Rush policies
    2. Hazing is not allowed at any Alpha Mu Omega event

Amendment 1

Studying

  1. All brothers are to study at least three hours a week
    1. This must be documented on the proper form.
      1. Pledges must meet a requirement of three hours more than that the brothers must obtain

Amendment 2

  1. Pledges must meet for a weekly meeting
    1. Determining goals set forth by the brothers.
    2. On a pre-set day of the week the pledges of Alpha Mu Omega shall dress up wearing their pledge pins.

Amendment 3

  1. The outgoing President shall have the power to amend one article of the Constitution or call for a re-vote of a previous decision that he deems necessary, provided he has the agreement of a 3rd (third) party, defined as the faculty advisor, Greek advisor, or a quorum of the alumni.

Amendment 4

    Amendment 1 covers all members and only those members on academic probation
