Transfer NEXT STEPS!! Admission was the first step
Congratulations, again! You have cleared the most important step in the college selection process. We are so happy to have you join the UWF community. Most UWF departments communicate with admitted students using the email address supplied at the time of the application. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS we will be sending you important updates.
1) Admissions Deposit NOT Required
There is NO Admissions Deposit for transfer students starting in the Summer 2013, Fall 2013, or Spring 2014 semesters. Students should register for orientation to secure their admissions to UWF.
Have all your required immunizations submitted to prevent any interference when you attempt to register for classes. Please submit these documents to the UWF Student Health Center ASAP! Immunization documents which are required:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
- Hepatitis B
- Meningitis

3) Transfer Student Orientation (REQUIRED-FALL 2013 STUDENTS)
If starting UWF as a sophomore, junior, or senior in the Fall 2013 term, this program will ease your transitioning to UWF. Be sure to check your email for announcements and visit the New Student Orientation website for additional information. You can meet with your Advisor and register for classes AFTER you complete your orientation.

4) Financial Aid @ UWF
Students interested in financial aid should submit their FAFSA as soon as possible. Once admitted and your FAFSA is successfully received you can be considered for financial aid awards. Our Federal school code is 003955.

5) Housing @ UWF
You should know we fill our residence halls each year and recommend submitting your housing contract as soon as possible. Don't delay.
