Let's Talk About it
We're pleased to offer some more great ways to get answers to your questions. First, the live chat feature listed above will let you know when there's a staff member waiting to chat with you. When we're "offline," you are welcome to leave a message for us or try the Ask an Argo feature to see if your question can be answered that way. Our goal is to have a staff person live during the fall every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm CENTRAL TIME.
Argo Live Events
These Group Chat Events are scheduled throughout the year to introduce prospective students and their families to the different elements of campus that are of interest to them. It could be financial aid, housing, athletics or the Honors Programs who will be leading the dialog. These events are often scheduled in the evenings. Click on Argo Live Events in the blue Ask an Argo box to see what's coming around the bend in the Group Chat context very soon.
Ask an Argo
You've seen it on the main page already. In fact, you've probably noticed it was on every page in the Undergraduate Admissions site. This feature is a 24/7/365 device to provide answers to your questions even when we're not in the office. While it's true that not "every" question is answered, the feature is dynamic. When you ask a good question, we'll add it to the program. That way, the next person to ask will be able to get the answer, and so on. You get to help us understand what information you would like to have. It's currently linked with more than 100 of the questions we get asked more than anything, so the chances are good that what you want to know is in there. At the very least, give it a try. After all, if it's after regular business hours, asking is a lot better than waiting until tomorrow for the same information.
