Dual Enrollment Credit

UWF has all Steinway PianosDual Enrollment Credits

Talented high school students in Florida often look for ways to complete college credits prior to graduation. Dual Enrollment is a strategic way to get ahead in your college credit totals while also knocking off high school course requirements – and on the state’s dime! Dual Enrollment credits are also accepted from non-Florida students, but unfortunately the state of Florida can’t foot the bill for those.

Prospective students have the ability to take Dual Enrollment credits at local community and state college campuses near their homes.  Students who complete Dual Enrollment credits in high school should make plans to submit the college or university transcripts as soon as they are available.

Interested students should contact their high school counselor to see if Dual Enrollment at UWF is an option for them. Now with many courses being available online, the list of possibilities has grown both in course offerings and in the number of students who now have access to this great program.

A written agreement with your school district needs to be in place before a student can participate. Most of the local counties around UWF already have a suitable agreement. To discuss the process for getting an agreement in place, simply contact the Office of the Registrar at registrar@uwf.edu.
