At the undergraduate level, the Department of Accounting and Finance offers a Minor in Forensic Accounting. This minor is an interdisciplinary program that exposes students to the following:

• core concepts of accounting
• the pervasiveness of and causes of financial fraud and white color crime in our society
• the methods in which financial fraud is perpetrated
• the approaches to fraud detection, investigation and prevention
• rules of evidence

The Minor in Forensic Accounting requires a minimum of 15 semester hours of upper division course work. Nine semester hours must be completed at UWF. This minor is available to both accounting and non-accounting majors.
